Afro Dance Classes in Calgary
Foundations Class
New to Afro dance? This class is the perfect introduction to the grooves, steps, and energy that define the genre. We’ll break down foundational moves, build your rhythm and confidence, and have fun! No experience needed, just your curiosity and good vibes!
Inter/Adv Choreography
Already comfortable with the basics? Our intermediate/advanced Afro dance class takes things to the next level with more intricate footwork, freestyle elements, and choreography that will sharpen your style and technique. Come ready to sweat and groove.

Afro Dance Styles
Amapiano
This South African dance genre is a fusion of South African dance styles such a Pantsula, Isbujwa, Bacardi, Benga and many more. The dance genre is born from Amapiano music, which was founded from a blend of deep house and Kwaito music emerging in the mid 2010s. This class will be about enjoyment and connecting with one another through the grooves of Amapiano.
